Hon. Doug Gaston
Hon. Douglas D. Gaston (Ret.) has over 25 years of experience as an attorney, including 14 years as a trial judge.
Doug served as judge of original jurisdiction over a wide array of cases during his tenure, receiving recognition from his state Supreme Court for his service, and was named a Toll Fellow by the Council of State Governments.
Prior to taking the bench, Doug served in the United States Department of Justice as Special Assistant US Attorney, Deputy State Treasurer responsible for daily oversight, compliance and investment of a $3 billion portfolio, Chief of Staff and General Counsel to the President of the Missouri Senate, and as an attorney in private practice.
He also served as Law Clerk to Judge Morris Arnold of the 8th Circuit US Court of Appeals.
Doug's practice focuses on mediation and arbitration, as well as general business and securities litigation.
